THE STILLIN
In the Canadian Shield a new hotel is preparing to open in 1914. Beneath the bedrock the darkness once protected for thousands of years has awoken as people from around the world arrive for the grand opening.
The Sand Rock Hotel's construction is nearly complete in Sandrock, Ontario. The Jewel of the North as it's dubbed, finds itself preparing to open just as the First Great War begins.
Bloodlines contest its opening and the French financier escapes France with his family before the invasion. They in the area have fought to protect the land that the hotel was built upon and now the workers and the people in the community are disappearing. Only the elders know the old stories and remember the children and families taken by the ancient malevolent darkness.
As the hotel’s opening date draws near, so too the world's elite and a circus train are steadily charging north to help promote its wealth of acts. The most important families in the world will be in attendance and The Great Tobias Springfield has bet all he has left to get his circus there for the hotel's opening night.
Rising from beneath the bowels of the hotel, an evil as old as time is awakening. Those arriving to stay at the opulent hotel have no idea what hell they have arrived within. The small community surrounding the hotel draws in like a moth to a flame as the spectacle of the circus engages the night. It's the last of its kind and their last chance to escape
