Cover Design & illustrations
We support our writers through the journey of readying their stories for release. Having a book jacket that stands out helps to get it into the hands of readers. Considering title design, colour, iconography, texture, internal layout and editorial preparedness increases your confidence in releasing your story to the world.
— We are presently accepting manuscripts for Science-Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Children's books and Adult Fiction. We are not accepting manuscripts for poetry, mysteries, how-to books, cookbooks, or self-help.
— We review all submissions, and if your manuscript is a good fit for our list, we will notify you within 90 days.
Where to begin your submission
We aspire to work with authors whose stories offer a unique and thought-provoking take on their genres. If you believe you offer a fresh perspective and a unique voice, we'd love to review your work.
A cover letter with your relevant contact information; a brief description of your project and the audience you anticipate for it; and why you think it would be a good fit for us.
SECOND STEP
A brief bio with a list of previous publication credits, if any... While we do read each and every manuscript submission we receive, we have limited staff and resources and response times may be as lengthy as six months.
THIRD STEP
A one-page synopsis with an elevator pitch, along with a word count for the full manuscript. If the book is to contain illustrations, provide them in the attachment in a self-contained PDF with the manuscript submission. For fiction: provide the first 3 chapters and ensure copy is double-spaced, in a 12pt Times font with indented paragraphs.
OUTCOME
Due to the high volume of submissions, we cannot provide personal replies or editorial comments on manuscripts that we decline. Our editorial resources will do our best to reply as soon as possible regarding manuscripts that we wish to pursue.
